The M&P 2.0 Forced Reset Trigger (FRT) replaces the factory backplate in Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 pistols, enabling a semi-automatic forced reset function. This polymer FRT works with 9mm, .40, .45, and 10mm models including Full Size, Compact, Subcompact, and Performance Center variants.
Designed as a consumable part, it renders the striker safety plunger non-functional. Installation requires minor trigger bar modification and may benefit from a 4 lb striker spring for reliable operation.

This 6-pack of polymer forced reset triggers includes everything needed for installation across multiple M&P 2.0 pistols. The FRT pushes the trigger bar forward to achieve reset, but requires the trigger to be released fully before another round can be fired.
- Requires slightly rounding one edge of trigger bar (see product images)
- 4 lb striker spring recommended for best performance
- May need light sanding for smooth fitment
- Heavier recoil spring (22-24 lb) recommended for .45 and 10mm models
- Striker safety plunger becomes non-functional with this installation

Will this work with my M&P Shield?
No, this FRT only fits M&P 2.0 series pistols in 9mm, .40, .45, and 10mm. It does not work with Shield, SD, FPC, or Bodyguard models.
Is any gunsmithing required?
Installation requires slightly rounding one edge of the trigger bar and may benefit from spring changes. Some light sanding of the FRT may be needed for optimal function.
